This archive offers a carefully guarded glimpse into the deeper mythology of The Mermaid Fountain. Each entry reveals only what can be known without uncovering the story still waiting beneath the surface.
The First Waters are the primordial waters that existed before oceans had names, before rivers found their paths, and before the first dawn touched the horizon. Vast, dark, and untouched beneath a young sky, they are the oldest waters of creation and the source from which later seas, rivers, lakes, springs, and sacred waters would emerge. Their depths carry the earliest memory of the world—ancient, mysterious, and beyond mortal understanding. It was from these waters that Auralith was fashioned, forever binding her existence to their ancient tides.
They are the beginning. The oldest memory. And the first home the waters ever knew.
The Eternal Fountain is the oldest and most sacred wellspring in the world—a living body of water whose true beginning and end cannot be measured. Hidden within the Living Waters, its impossibly clear depths descend farther than any known path. The Fountain is connected to waters far beyond what can be seen upon the surface, carrying something ancient through the hidden waterways of the world.
It is more than a source of water. It remembers.
Long after kingdoms fade and belief changes, the Eternal Fountain continues to flow: silent, ancient, remembering.
The Eternal Current is the hidden living flow that binds the waters of the world together. It moves beyond ordinary rivers and tides, connecting springs, lakes, rivers, sacred pools, underground waters, and ancient fountains in ways no mortal map can fully explain. To human eyes, these waters appear separate. Beneath the surface, they are part of something far older.
It carries more than water. It carries memory.
Kingdoms may disappear, maps may change, and civilizations may forget. Yet the Eternal Current continues to move—silent, unbroken, remembering every water it has ever touched.
The Heavenly Realm is the eternal dominion of the Creator—a realm beyond the mortal world, untouched by decay, time, or death. Vast beyond mortal understanding, it is filled with radiant light, celestial structures, endless courts, and horizons that seem to stretch into eternity. Its brilliance comes not from an earthly sun, but from the presence of the Creator Himself.
Within the realm dwell the angels and the great Celestial Host, each created with purpose and service beneath divine authority.
Long after kingdoms fall and mortal memory fades, it remains: eternal, watchful, unchanged.
The Celestial Court stands within the Heavenly Realm, surrounded by halls of living radiance, towering pillars, and celestial architecture beyond mortal craftsmanship. No earthly sun illuminates it. Its brilliance comes from the presence of the Creator.
Within the Court gather members of the Celestial Host according to their purpose and station. It is a place reserved for matters of great consequence, where divine order, truth, mercy, and judgment exist beneath the authority of the Creator.
Nothing hidden remains hidden there. No title outweighs truth. Those who stand before the Court stand before truth.
The Emerald Forest Realm is a hidden kingdom of ancient forests, sacred springs, freshwater pathways, and deep-rooted magic. Here, water and earth seem almost inseparable. Towering trees form immense canopies overhead, crystal streams wind beneath moss-covered stone, waterfalls vanish into hidden caverns, and luminous springs rise from places untouched by mortal hands.
The forest is alive in ways outsiders may never fully understand. Paths may shift. Streams may reveal themselves. Entrances may appear where none existed before.
A sanctuary. A living memory. A place where the old world still endures.
The Common World is the mortal realm—the world of humanity, civilization, history, science, faith, progress, and forgetting. It is the world most familiar to humankind, yet only a fraction of what exists within it is truly understood.
Kingdoms rise and fall. Technology advances. Stories pass from generation to generation until truth becomes legend and legend becomes myth. Yet the Common World has never been entirely separate from the hidden world.
What was once witnessed became folklore. What was once sacred became myth.
Humanity may have forgotten the old magic. The old magic has not forgotten humanity.
Creation & the Ages is the great chronology of the world—from its earliest beginnings to the modern era. The oldest traditions speak of a time when creation was still young and the boundaries between heaven, sea, land, and spirit were far less distant than they appear today.
As the world matured, realms formed, civilizations rose, and ancient beings became part of the stories humanity carried forward.
History became story. Story became legend. Legend became myth.
Yet traces of what came before remain—in old waters, forgotten places, and mysteries the modern world has not entirely explained. The Ages continue, and not everything has been forgotten.
The Lore will continue to grow as more of the world is revealed. Some names, histories, relationships, and truths remain intentionally hidden until their time comes within the story.
